While in Concord I also stopped by the NH Democratic Party HQs (in walking distance of the NH State House) and met with the Political Director.
There were a few staffers busy fielding last-minute calls about the State Party convention scheduled for the next morning, but the rest were in Manchester making all the final preparations for the Convention. (I attended the Convention the next day - and listened to 7 hours of political speeches, including 19 Democratic candidates for President - will post pics and videos from the Convention separately.)
When the class is in New Hampshire, I will arrange for field trip visits for all students to meet with the Democratic Party and the Republican Party HQs - to learn more about NH politics, political culture, the first-in-the-nation primary - and both perspectives on the 2020 primary season.
