In addition to learning about the presidential nominating process, we also learn more about New Hampshire politics and government and political traditions. We arrange for a tour of the New Hampshire State House early in our travels.
We had several other meetings with State Representatives, State Senators, the Executive Council and the Governor and the Secretary of State (blog posts to come), but the overview of New Hampshire history we get during the tour is invaluable. (Also - there is a gift shop with nifty dioramas and political memorabilia and souvenirs - what more can you ask for?!)
