Welcome Dinner in New Hampshire! First Class Meeting

the ground is white under our feet.....and it's not our sandy beaches
We all landed safely at Boston's Logan Airport. Our 3rd van driver, Jose, came to pick me up at BOS, and then we traveled together to the van rental place.  (Where our 2nd van driver, Tom, met us.)

After we picked up the vans, we went back to Logan and collected the students, and then drove north to our hotel in Merrimack, NH.

After distributing all of the hotel room keys and giving the students a few minutes to get settled, we headed to PizzAroma for dinner.

At dinner, we reviewed the NH Itinerary and expectations for the next 10 days.  And we also had time to formally introduce the other van drivers:  Tom and Jose.  With 29 students working on 8 campaigns in 3 cities, we needed the assistance of additional drivers/mentors. We all considered ourselves blessed to have Jose and Tom on our #RTWH2020 Team!

As we prepare for the next 100 days of GOTV, it is fitting that we had pizza for dinner.  ;-)

Pizzaroma in Merrimack, NH was delicious.  We ordered cheese pizzas (including some that were gluten free) and salads. We appreciated their reserving the dining room seating area for our group. It was a perfect spot for our first course meeting.

And -- it was the first time many of the students had seen snow - so - we took a few pictures on the snow banks in the shopping center parking lot before heading off to Wal-Mart for supplies.
